Our sister site, Cleantechnica, is hosting a vote for its readers to help them select their 2019 electric car of the year. Their choices include a Jaguar, a set of Hyundai/Kia twins (not even the cool one), a cynical cash grab from VW, and a Gas 2 favorite– the 2019 Nissan LEAF e+.
You vote how you want, but I’ll be voting for the little Nissan due to its 5 star safety rating, low cost of admission, proven longevity, easily accessible and nationwide dealer network, and the availability of a great-looking sporty version that won’t break the bank quite as quickly as those quarter-million-dollar Tesla widebody specials that I keep posting about.
