Kawasaki’s budget Ninja is one of the best all-around city bikes money can buy, and is one of the most recommended “first sport-bikes” in the history of wheeled things. Truly out-riding the bike’s stratospheric, 19,000 RPM engine and storied handling capabilities on a track is something that rarely happens as well, making it a great trackday toy once you move on to bigger and more expensive things. Still, what if you love the ride but want some to, you know, freshen it up a bit?

If you’re a Bat-fan, Bat-dad, or Ben Affleck, you might want to head on over to Brasse and check the 31BLK streetfighter kit for the Kawasaki Ninja.

Based on the 2008-2012 Kawasaki Ninja 250 (and possibly, the later Ninja 300 models), the Brasse 31BLK kit comes complete with two “gull wing” HID headlamps, a “drag speedometer” (Brasse’s words), a new rear fender assembly, and right and left component/cover panels. A quick-release passenger seat, replacement right and left lower fairings, and a side-mount license plate bracket are available from Brasse as options, as well.

Brasse will sell you its 31BLK conversion kit for just 1695 USD, and you won’t have to worry about buying any specialized body tools, either, as they’re (cleverly!) included in the kit.

So, what do you guys think? Is this the hot new Batcycle look you want for your greying-around-the-temples Kawasaki Ninja 250, or is this just like giving some street kids $1700 to jack up your ride with crowbars? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.
